Cute Card Thursday 647 - Bright Colours

A new challenge has started over at Cute Card Thursday and this week we have the theme of Bright Colours. We are sponsored by All Dressed Up Stamps.

I have used Bucket and Spade from All Dressed Up Stamps. I have coloured her with Polychromos Pencils and blended with Sansador using Paper Stumps. The papers are from Echo Park. I have realised I obviously don't do bright colours. I don't have many bright papers. I have followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday although I have rotated it.

Cute Card Thursday 643 - Stitching

Another week gone by and another challenge over at Cute Card Thursday and this week we have the theme of stitching. We are sponsored by Dis Digi Stamps.

I don't actually do stitching on my cards. So with the help of dies and a bit of doodling I went with faux stitching. I didn't really know where I was going with this one. So I went with the Christmas theme from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Facebook which is pink and green. The image is Gingerbread Kisses from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday.

I then decided to add it onto a bag instead of leaving it as a card. We all need some gift bags - right. The papers are digi from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Happy Holidays by Zoe Pearn.

Another challenge has started over at Cute Card Thursday and we have a Summer theme on the go. We are sponsored by Dis Digi Stamps.

I have used the super cute Toucan Surf from Whimsy Stamps. The papers are a very old pad I found, don't know who by. The sentiment came with the image.
I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday, so am entering it over there.

The Sugar Bowl 130

Well that Month sure flew by. Nearly missed getting a card into the Sugar Bowl Challenge. But I found this wee cutie in my box of coloured images, so thought I would get her onto a card. She was a rubber stamp by Krista Smith for Sugar Nellie, but was really limited. But she did appear on the Sugar Nellie Blog as a freebie Digi the other week. The papers are from First Edition. The Holly Leaves are a Spellbinder die with some Craftwork Cards Candy for the berries. The sentiment is from Personal Impressions. And a few green pears to finish. A nice quick card for me (for a change). I followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday, turned and flipped (I think - haha).

Slinky Sketch Saturday

For my card I have followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday, I so needed a sketch to work from. My mojo has been away on holiday for a wee while now. I'm hoping this is it coming back now. The image is from Slinky Tart, I do love these images just now. I have to admit colouring unusual colours for hair is so hard for me. But my Cousin is always dying her hair red, so I thought just go for it. Guitars make me think of her, I made her Wedding invites and used those Guitar die cuts, The Guitar die is a very old one from Ellison. No design paper, just coloured card, but I think it works here. I also want to enter it into the Cute Card Thursday Challenge where they have an anything goes theme.

Kraftin Kimmie Bingo

Kraftin Kimmie were having a party over on Facebook and this was my entry into the Bingo Challenge. The image is called Angie and thought I would ink her up for the first time. The papers are Dovecraft and I haven't even had them for 6 months yet. I know - how could I cut them up yet. I have followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday (only I haven't gone with the oval, she wouldn't fit in my ovals - haha). And since there is a bit of lace in there I thought I would enter it into the Challenge over at Cute Card Thursday where the theme is Lovely Lace. The diecut is a Whimsy Die, which I am really liking just now. It may be a bit big for here, but I just had to use. The metal corner is from Wild Orchid crafts.

Kraftin Kimmie Wonderful Wednesday

Boy have I been busy making these cards this last wee while. But it wont likely last much longer. I've a weeks holiday next week, so the mojo will go on holiday too probably. Anyway, my card for today is for the Wonderful Wednesday Challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie where they have an anything goes theme. I was making it for their Saturday Challenge - black and white, but have decided to make a fully black and white card. Might have to change my mind later mind you. I hate colouring skin in greys/blacks. The image is called Going Places. The papers are Papermania from many years ago. A huge pad, so have still loads to get through. The sentiment is a stamp from Whimsy Stamps here. A little bit of ribbon, wee rhinestones and a ribbon slider to finish. I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday, and even remembered to post it in time this time. Haha. I am also going to enter it into the Papertake Weekly Challenge where there are several things to choose from. I went with the colours White plus one (excluding skin and hair)

All Dressed Up Sugar

Got myself another wee entry into the Sugar Bowl Challenge. Another of the All Dressed Up images from Sugar Nellie. This one is a rubber stamp called Little Raindrops. I have used digi papers from Sweet Shoppe Designs - C'est La Vie by Zoe Pearn. I have added some ribbon, card candy and a few die cuts. Oh and a few rhinestones. Yep, I think I got a little carried away with them. I also added some Stickles glitter as a puddle at her feet. The die cuts are all MFT Blueprints 14. I also want to enter it into the Sketch Saturday Challenge as I followed their sketch. I am also going to enter her into the All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge where the theme is glitter and sparkle.

The Sugar Bowl 119 again

Another entry for me into the Challenge over at The Sugar Bowl. And another non Chrsitmas card too. Thought I had better get Big Sis's Birthday card made. Her Birthday was yesterday, so all good. It's really not my usual colours, but I am liking them. The papers are from Lili of the Valley. I think Big Sis probably chose the pad too. I followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday. I thought I had missed it, but they are leaving the challenge open for 2 weeks. Wahey - result. The flower is from an MFT Blueprint die set. I thought I would add a few sequins, just because I could. The Sentiment is from a Kanban clear set. Oh and the image is a digi image from Sugar Nellie - Oriental Ladies #4.

The Sugar Bowl 119

Decided to go with a non Christmas card for this one. Maybe then I can get back into the swing of all things Christmas again. I have used a cute new digi image from Sugar Nellie. This one is called Floral Ladies #2. There is a butterfly under the diecut butterfly, but I didn't know what colour to colour it, so I covered it up. I have coloured her with Polychromos. The papers are from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Here without you by Krystal Hartley. The sentiment is a stamp from Kanban. I am entering her into the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl where the theme is anything Goes. I am also entering it into the Sketch Saturday Challenge. I have used sketch #258.
