Another ScrapBerry's

I managed to sneak in another little play with my new ScrapBerry's Stamps. These are gorgeous and easy to colour. The stamps come with accessory stamps, and the wee budgie is actually an accessory. I just had to add him. We used to breed and show budgies many moons ago. The papers are downloads from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Dear Diary by Kristen Cronin Barrow. The flowers are MFT dies, coloured with Stormy Skies Distress ink. Coloured with polychromos and blended with sansador and paper stumps. All that was needed was a few wee pearls.

My first ScrapBerry

I had to have a play when my new ScrapBerry Stamps arrived. How cute are these. I didn't know what colour to go with, so decided to go with black and white. The papers are old Papermania papers. I have decided I really have to use some papers up, so it's a start. I was looking for the flowers in a box, and came up with the long forgotten about doilies. I had to use the diecut filmstrip. It's from a Tim Holtz sizzlet strip - mini filmstrip and tickets. A few craftwork card candies and that's it. Still simple cards from me. Haha. I am entering this card into The Sugar Bowl Challenge, where the theme is anything goes. I know this isn't a Sugar Nellie stamp, but as they are being sold by them, we are allowed to use them for this final challenge.

Beside the Seaside

Got another card finished tonight. And luckily it fits into several challenges. I have used the cute Mermaid from Simply Betty Stamps. Coloured her with Polychromos pencils and blended with sansador and paper stumps. The papers are downloads from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Carolina Coast by Melissa Bennett. A wee MFT die cut button and Marianne Designs Anchor. Added a bit of ribbon and pearls and that's me.

Christmas Fairies

I seem to be in Christmas mode just now. Hmmm, wonder how long that will last. Anyway, I have made a couple of wee gift card holders using the sweet Sugar Nellie Fairies. These are digi images, which helps when I want to make something that bit smaller. I want to enter these into the challenge over at Christmas at sweet stampin where the theme is Christmas Fairies. Both are made using digi papers from Sweet Shoppe Designs. The pink one is Happy Holidays by Zoe Pearn and the grey is Christmas Spirit - Silent Night, again by Zoe Pearn. I added a wee die cut poinsettia by Marianne Designs. Pretty simple really. Although I am really tempted to add something at the bottom of the pink one. But Hubby says to leave it alone. So I've left it alone (for now anyway). I am also entering them into the final challenge over at The Sugar Bowl where the theme is anything goes.

Dreaming of a white Christmas

Thought I would try and get some Christmas cards made. So when I saw the theme over at Winter Wonderland was white on white, I decided why not. So here we are. The image is from the Mulberry Wood CD from Crafters Companion. I have used embossing folders, which I think you can just about see. The very back is also from Crafters Companion called Let it snow and is an A4 folder. The dots are from Cuttlebug I think - swiss dots. The postmark (I just had to add) is from Lili of the Valley, and I printed the sentiment. I needed a bit of help, so followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday. I also want to enter this card into the Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge where the theme is - For a child.

The Sugar Bowl 116

Well here is my entry for the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl where the theme is Anything Goes. As this is gonna be their final challenge (how sad is that), I went with a farewell card. Although I am sure their will be plenty of new things planned for the future of Sugar Nellie. Anyway, I used a Gorgeous Girl by Suzanne Woolcott, but there doesn't seem to be many stamps there. (But they do have the Personal Impression Gorjuss Girl stamps). The papers are Sweet Shoppe Designs - Vignette by Krystal Hartley. And I printed out the text.
