Cute Card Thursday 692 - Anything Goes

 OK, I'll see if I can remember how to do this. Haha. Well onto another Challenge over at Cute Card Thursday. This Month we have an Anything Goes with the optional theme of Birthdays. WE have 3 sponsors this month. Whimsy Stamps, All Dressed Up Stamps and Stampers Delights.

I went with a Matchbox Easel card. The matchboxes are a Sizzix die,I cut out twice. Added an Easel card on the top. The image is Bumble Bee Fairy from Whimsy Stamps. Coloured with Polychromos Pencils and blended with Sansador using paper stumps. The papers are digi from Sweet Shoppe Designs.

Cute Card Thursday 689 - Anything Goes with the optional Transport

 New Challenge day at Cute Card Thursday. We have a bit of a change going on over there. We are now going Monthly, so will be starting on the first Thursday of the month. We will be Anything Goes, with an optional theme. This week that theme is Transport. But mind - it's only optional. This week we have three sponsors. Whimsy Stamps, All Dressed Up Stamps and Stampers Delight. So definitely worth a shot - right.

I didn't go with the theme this time. But I did lose the plot a wee bit. I mean, I went with a Christmas Mermaid (I know right). The super cute image is Antarctic Mermaid from Whimsy Stamps. I coloured her using Polychromos Pencils and blended with Sansador using paper stumps. The papers are digital from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Happy Holidays by Zoe Pearn. I decided to make a wee scene and concentrate on my colouring. It didn't quite turn out how I thought but I kinda like it. I have used Esther Bunny and Harvest Bunny from Whimsy Stamps. I have coloured them with Polychromos Pencils and blended with Paper Stumps.  The carrots are die cuts from Impression Obsessions and coloured with Distress ink. A bit of dynamo text, some sequins and twine to finish.

I made a matchbox card for my Sister's Birthday. I'm not sure about this December Birthday - I'm in Christmas mode by now. I have used Frog Prince from Whimsy Stamps. The matchboxes are a die from Sizzix and I just made the easel card to fit. The drawers fit 3 wee single dairy milk sweets in each. Coloured with Polychromos Pencils and blended with Sansador using paper stumps.

I made a box to put the card in. Using a wrap to keep it closed. The sentiment is a stamp from Taylored Expressions.

I decided to make some Candy Cane Tags. I printed some Buffalo Plaid paper out and die cut with an MFT Tag die. The circles are MFT too. I just love Nutcrackers, so these stamps were a no brainer. These Nutcracker Stamps certainly came to life when coloured. Coloured with Polychromos Pencils and blended with Sansador using Paper Stumps.

I made a gift box this week. I have used a retired rubber stamp from Whimsy stamps.  Coloured using Polychromos Pencils and blended with Sansador using paper stumps (and I have just spotted I have missed a bit of hair - oops). The Poinsettia is a Marianne designs die. The shine bright is Lili of the valley and the papers are digi from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Christmas spirit - Silent night by Zoe Pearn.

I made a wee Popcorn box for some Halloween treats. They are quite dinky, but turn out cute. I got the die from Stampin Up, but it was a lot smaller than I thought. But that's OK, it's cute - haha. The papers are digi from Sweet Shoppe Designs. I used dies for the cobwebs from Whimsy Stamps. But it's an old one, so don't know if it's still available. The Penguin is a digi image from Whimsy Stamps from here or in rubber here. The Ghosts are dies from Memory Box, again rather old. And the chocolate is all eaten. Haha.

I got the new background die from Whimsy Stamps here, so went with that. I decided to use Magical Unicorn from All Dressed Up to go with the rainbow thing. I had the ribbon already sitting there. So it all came togeter nicely. I added the sequins because they were there too. Haha. I can make things without patterned papers, but I had to think about this one.

The grass is an old Quickutz die and the buttons are an MFT die.

I have made another sticky note calendar. I'm getting a bit carried away making these. I have used a super cute gnome from this set by Dustin Pike. And the best part is - it's digital, so instant. Yay. I have coloured him with Polychromos pencils and blended with Sansador using paper stumps. The papers are digi too from Sweet Shoppe Designs. Adventure:Badger by Studio Flergs. I managed to get a wee black mark above the gnome. But saved the day with a wee wooden bee. The honey comb is a die from Whimsy too.

I have used a retired rubber stamp for my card this week from Whimsy stamps. You can find some of the collection here in the UK. The dies are a mix. I was going to colour them in but sat them on top to see how they fit. Thought they looked OK white, so stuck them down before I changed my mind.

I got a Popcorn Box Die from Stampin Up a few years ago. But erm it stayed unused until this week. Anyway, it sure is kinda cute. I decided to use this Mermaid Tail clear stamp from Whimsy Stamps. I got mine from here at Dies to Die for in the UK. The papers are digi from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Like a Mermaid by Meagan's Creations. The Seahorses and shells are dies from Whimsy too. The box is super cute, but I still managed to fit 10 wee chocolate sweets in there. Now to find a cellophane bag to fit it.

But it's done now (unless I print it again and stick another cap on top - haha). The papers are very old Papermania ones. I printed the sentiment.

For my card I used the freebie TP Dudley. And how cute is he. He definitely brought a smile to my face. I also wanted to make a Rainbow, like the kids are making and putting in windows. Then I thought about a pot of gold. Then the idea of the toilet paper came about. It's definitely like gold just now. I had a cloud embossing folder on my desk, so thought that would be perfect. No idea who makes it though. The Rainbow is an MFT Die and the Scallop Mat is Creative Expressions. The cloud is W Plus 9. He is coloured with Polychromos pencils and blended with Sansador using paper stumps.
