Cute Card Thursday 666 - Anything Goes

OK, so I'm a little late with this. But consider it a midway (and some) reminder. The challenge over at Cute Card Thursday is still going on and is a super easy anything goes challenge. We are sponsored by My Creative Scoop.

I went with another Candy Cane Tag. Again of the wee pup Theo. This one is digi from Mo's Digital Pencil called Mel. Coloured with Polychromos Pencils blended with Sansador using Paper Stumps. The Tag is an MFT die along with the stitched circle. I think the scallop circle is Spellbinders. The hat is a die cut too, but can't remember whose.

Sketch Saturday with Mo

Woohoo. I'm liking this card. I don't say that too often really. I coloured this Cutie in with Copics and quite like how it turned out. Big Sis has asked me to make some Baby cards for her friends. Hmm - so I leave it to the last minute. Well I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday and used papers from Pink Petticoat - Gingham and washed out. The sentiment is from Personal Impression. I even used my new Sizzix Hearts Embossing Folder. I am also going to enter this into the Bella and Bronte Challenge where they have an anything goes theme.

Mo's Digital Pencil 259

I must be in pink mode just now. A wee Baby Girl card this time using this wee cutie from Mo's Digital Pencil. The papers are oldies from Papermania, but still work right. The sentiment is from Personal Impressions. I coloured her with Polychromos pencils and blended with with Sansador using paper stumps. I was happy with her face, but I thought her arms were a little brown. But she couldn't have been too bad, she made it to a card.
Oops - forgot to say I'm entering her into Mo's Challenge where there is an anything goes theme.

Mo's Digital Challenge 258

I'm sneaking another card in today. This one is for the challenge at Mo's Digi where they have an anything goes theme, with the optional extra of non traditional Christmas. I think this wee girl is totally adorable, but had better hang on tight. Coloured with Polychromos pencils and blended with Sansador using paper stumps. I even added a little bit of frantage for some snow. The papers are Papermania from a few years ago (I think). And the sentiment is Crafty Impressions. You can get the image here.

Mo's Snowman

Over at Mo's Facebook page we were offered this cute snowman free for 24hrs. Of course, I just had to have it. You can now buy it in the shop here. They have also got a wee challenge going to use him over there, so I guess I will enter him on Facebook too. I have followed a sketch from Sketch Saturday, so am entering it over there too. I also want to enter it into the June Challenge at Christmas cards all year round where the theme is Snowman. The papers are digi papers by Michele Roo. The sentiment is from a stamp set by Crafty Impressions. And a Whimsy diecut snowflake.

I turned the sketch upside down for my card.
And Better late than never. Haha. I am also entering this wee Guy into Mo's Challenge over on the Blog. It is an Anything goes challenge.

Mo's Amanda

I decided to enter the challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil. It's a special one this time where you have to use this image - But it is for a good cause. One of Mo's DT members - Amanda Reed - passed away unexpectedly, so this image is in her memory, so you can purchase this Amanda digi for the special price of $1.00 til 16th Oct and all proceeds will be given to a charity near to where Amanda lived. So I just had to give her a home. Anyway, I have used papers by MME and some washi tape, also by MME.The flower is a Marianne D die (I think) and a few punched butterflies. I have followed the sketch from over at Sketch Saturday.

Friday Sketches & Mo's Digi

For todays card, I have followed the sketch over at Friday Sketches, which I quite enjoyed (even though it had a circle in it). I used these colours so I could also enter it into Mo's Digital Challenge, where the colours are blue, brown and neutral (white or cream). Obviously it is one of Mo's images and the papers are printed from a Funky Hand CD. I used the Thank you, just because it was there really. I wasn't sure what to put there, but came across this lurking about my desk, so thought it would be just right.

The Sugar Bowl & Mo's Digi

Running late as usual. But at least I am actually managing to get the cards up here. The first one here is for The Sugar Bowl. The extra bit was distressing - which I have done, just. I'm not very good at distressing, I love the look, but can't bear to do it to the papers in case I mess it up. I have gone round the edges with brown ink, but I don't know if you can see it. I have also gone round the edges on the image and chalked it a bit. The papers are K & Co and I cut the flower out with the Sizzix. The Hubby actually chose the colours for this one. I had the flower all cut out, but was gonna change one of the layers, but was told not to.

And my next card is for Mo's Digital Challenge. I hope the colours are OK. I didn't really have the right colours, so used these. I love the colour purple / lilac, but just don't seem to be able to fit it in to my crafts. I was obviously going to try before, as I had downloaded this paper from Sweet Shoppe designs by Penny Springman. I punched the flowers out, but stuck them down before I remembered I was going to emboss the backs - oops. But they still look OK. And I printed the text to finish.

Quixotic #9 & Mo's #14

First off we have my card for the Quixotic Challenge, which is a sketch. I have used a Greeting Farm image and the papers are My Minds Eye - Bloom and Grow. I punched out the flowers but might have to go back and put some gems in the middle of them. And the with love I have had an age, so don't know who does that one.

And for my second card, I have a very squint one for Mo's Digital Challenge, which is another sketch. I have made a Christmas card for this one as I am out of ink for the printer, and only had Christmas images ready to colour. I ordered some ink on the Internet. But what comes first - every colour but the one I need. So I might just have to be a little more patient (or go to Argos after all). Anyway - the papers are Papermania and the text is printed (before I ran out of ink obviously), Nesties to cut oval and text, matted on to some turquoise-ish glitter card, and 3 wee craftwork cards candy. And that's it. And I'm now on my way to a stress free Christmas - do you think so. No, me neither.

Mo's Digital Pencil

Over at Mo's Digi challenge they want to see Birthdays. Most of my images are Christmas - oops. Although I do have a few others, but my ink has run out - typical eh. But I did manage to find one in my to colour pile, so I finally picked the colour - great for a boy card. The papers are DCWV and the sentiment is from Personal Impressions. I kept it simple, just to ease myself back slowly. I really have lost my mojo. I've made an A6 card so I can put it towards the Do crafts Craft for Life campaign. They are supporting Cancer Research UK this year. Hopefully I will manage to get a few more A6 cards made - I keep going back to square.

Winter Wonderland & Mo's Digi

I decided to make a gift bag, after my Sister asked if I could make her a couple. So this is the first one. Her friend is into cats, so I thought it was the perfect one for Mo's Challenge, which is anything but a card. I coloured the image in with chalks, but I'm not convinced. I have used several snowflake punches - EK Success border, Martha Stewart and Hobbycraft. The poinsettia is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the paper is Pink Petticoat. I have printed the sentiment directly onto the backing paper. I also added a wee charm, but I now think that it should maybe have been a snowflake. But hey - it's done ow. Anyway, I can also enter it into the Winter Wonderland Challenge, as they want stockings. I knew it would come good eh.

And I have also managed a card for A Spoonful of Sugar which is a sketch. Again I have used Pink Petticoat papers and Poinsettia, with a couple of craftwork card candy thingies.

Friday Sketches & Mo's Digital Pencil

I followed the sketch over at Friday Sketches for this card. The image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and is called Swine flu. Anyway - the Hubby is into pigs, so this caught my eye straight away - maybe not quite the pig thing he is into right enough. Well, he's been off work with the flu this week, so it was the perfect image to get. The 1st challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil is the colour "perple" - so the colour "perple" they will get. The papers are a download from Sweet shoppe Designs from the sale section. I printed out the text and added 2 wee buttons and 3 rhinestones.
