Cute Card Thursday 443 - Vintage
Once again another week has flown by and the theme for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge is Vintage. Hmm, I don't do vintage. Just the thought of roughing it up a bit puts me in a sweat. But hey, it's a challenge right (and only a bit of paper - yeah). So here is the end result, and I'm quite liking it. I might just have to try it again. (Did I really just say that). We are being sponsored by Dis Digi Stamps with a $12 voucher to spend in store.
Well onto my card. I dug out an oldie stamp for this one. I have used a Leanne Ellis stamp from Sugar Nellie. You can get her in a super deal here. £9.99 for 5 stamps. What's not to love about that eh. But you can also get her on her own from here. The papers are digi from Michelerdesigns not that you can see much of them. The lace die is from Joanna Sheen and the birdcage is Tim Holtz. I decided to use some Imagination Crafts Alchemy Wax in Bronze to make it look a bit more aged. I have never used this before, but do like the result.

The Sugar Bowl 135
Over on the Sugar Nellie Blog they are showcasing Leanne Ellis Stamps this week. So I decided to dig out one for my card for the Challenge over at The Sugar Bowl. So I used Mermaid, don't you just love her. She is coloured with Copics, and very glittery using Wink of Stella (not that it shows in the picture). The papers are digi from here. I have used several dies - First Edition Crab, La La Land Seaweed, and Marianne Design shell. The sentiment is Lili of the Valley. I also want to enter her into the ABC Challenge - E for everything (anything goes). Oops, nearly forgot - I used the sketch (which I rotated) from Sketch Saturday so am entering her over there too.

Cute Card Thursday 418
I decided to colour up my image for the Progressive Challenge over at Simply Betty's Facebook Progressive Challenge. I chose the papers first for a change and coloured her with Copics. She is of course from Simply Betty Stamps. The papers are Santoro - Leanne Ellis range. Thought I should cut into them now - and yes, it was hard. I think I should practice my photography right enough. I seem to be getting worse. I am going to enter her into the Cute Card Thursday Challenge where the theme is To die for. The dies are Spellbinders for the two ovals in the middle and MFT for the sentiment oval.

Another Sugar Bowl - Yay
I managed another card for the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl. This time I used a Leanne Ellis stamp called Stitch. I used this layout on a card before and liked how it turned out, so thought I would go with it again. I bought the doilies at The Hobbycraft show years ago and have only used them once before (if that). So I have been busy making cards with them and am lovin them. The papers were a bit of a boo boo, but I was determined that I would use them. They are digi and my printer was obviously having a fit when I printed them - they were supposed to be brown - oops. They are from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Christmas Spirit:- Comfort and Joy by Zoe Pearn. I added the two pins for the sewing touch. I don't really have any sewing bits and bobs. Hmm, may need to change that. I also want to enter it into the Papertake Weekly Challenge which has an anything goes theme.
And my first card with this layout was with these cute dolphins from the Craft for Clearwater over at Kit and Clowder Facebook page. They have a bit of a fundraiser going on over there. I think there is still a few days left to donate. The papers are digi by Tamara at Spunky Tart.

The Sugar Bowl 113
My entry for the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl, where they want to see something for Mothers Day or a Special Lady. So I thought Sister can be Special - right. (But shh, don't tell her that part). Anyway, for my card I have used a stamp from the Leanne Ellis Range, she isn't there at the mo, but there are plenty more to chose from. The papers are Pink Petticoat downloads from two sets - Washed out and Gingham. I have used Cuttlebug embossing folders on the white card, swiss dots and roses. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and the flower and button are MFT dies. Oh and the butterflies are a punch I got from Hobbycraft many moons ago. I also want to enter it into the challenge over at Papertake Weekly, since I have used their sketch.
