The challenge over at the Saturated Canary Challenge this week is Hot chocolate and marshmallows. So I used this wee cutie, coloured in pinks and browns. But I have made her into a tag for a wee bag of hot chocolate and marshmallows. I found a box of mini mini marshmallows, but can I find them again - oh no. The little bits of paper are from Pink Petticoat and the sentiment is Lili of the Valley.
And a sidey ways view, just to see the choccie and mallows a bit better.

Sketch Saturday #236
Yay - another card from me. Still on the Christmas rush, but this time following the sketch over at Sketch Saturday I've had this cute Sassy Cheryl Snowman coloured for a while, so thought it was about time I used him. The papers are Dovecraft and the sentiment is an old Magnolia stamp I found in all my stuff - stamped on white card and coloured in with distress ink. The matting is actually green card, but looks rather black here. I would also like to enter this card into the Sketchy Colours challenge - colour - red, green and white. And the Cute Card Thursday challenge - colour - red and green.

The Sugar Bowl and Saturated Canary
First up I have Big Sis's Birthday card. She loves green and any Saturated Canary image, so I should be OK with this one. I have followed the sketch over at The Saturated Canary Challenge, so would like to enter it over there. The papers are downloads from Pink Petticoat. Have used nesties for the ovals and Marianne Designs dies for the shells and starfish. Printed the sentiment and the 40 is from a Sizzix sizzlet set. A bit of seam binding, a ribbon slider and a few gems to finish.
And next up is my card for the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl. There they have the optional extra of A Winters Tale. I can do that. So I have used this cutie Crystal Snowflakes, and I hear she may be coming out as a digi - oh, maybe I might just have to get her in digi too. The papers are a download from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Forecast Flurries by Eva Kipler. The sentiment is by Lili of the Valley. Some snowflakes and button to finish. I would also like to enter it into the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday where the theme is Snowflakes.

My entry into The Sugar Bowl challenge this week. But I must warn you it is picture heavy. The sketch is the front cover - honest. The papers were a freebie pack from a magazine yonks ago. All images are Sugar Nellie stamps.

March - papers are again Sweet Shoppe Designs. April - papers Sweet Shoppe Designs.
May - papers Sweet Shoppe Designs. June - papers Sweet Shoppe Designs.
July - papers Sweet Shoppe Designs. August - papers Sweet Shoppe Designs.
November - papers Sweet Shoppe Designs. December - No DP but have used swiss dots embossing folder and scored some lines on the score pal.
I used my bind it all to punch the holes and put the wire in. The calender tabs are Anitas by Do Crafts.

High Hopes Guest
I was asked to be a guest over at the High Hopes Challenge. It's a sketch this week, so I thought it would be nice and easy for me. I quite like how it turned out, and no design paper - I know, it shocked me too. I used Kitty's Christmas Fun in a circle cut out with a larger Go Kreate die. Printed out the sentiment and cut it out with an MFT die. A bit of doodling, couple of snowflakes, glitter, button and rhinestones and that's me. Simple but pretty effective I think.

High Hopes Halloween
Blogger isn't playing well at all just now. It's taken forever to get this picture on here. Anyway, the challenge over at High Hopes is to use Halloween colours. I've been into making tags just now, so thought I would make a Halloween tag to go on a bag of treats. I've got the bags, but not the treats, so we just look like a tag at the mo. I've got a few High Hopes Halloween stamps, but these are quite smallish for cards. The papers are from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Spooky Ooky by Fee Jardine. Not that I've used much paper (great for using scraps up). The Ticket is from Whimsy, a digital set. Added a bit of doodling, a bit of ribbon and 3 wee rhinestones and that's me.

The Sugar Bowl #92
My entry to The Sugar Bowl challenge this week. The image is an older Sugar Nellie and is a set. I just love this one. The optional extra is Turquoise/Brown. I can do that, so why did I have to have a nosy round Nitwits site and come up with some new papers. Yes these papers are a download from Nitwits - Winter Wishes. The sentiment is Craftwork cards and the snowflakes are a Hobbycraft punch. The swirly bits round the edge of the image are from a freebie stamp set from a magazine. I am also entering it into the Sugar Nellie Facebook Challenge which is 3 of something. There are new challenges over there on Sundays at 12pm.

Het Canary #1
Man that was hard work - Blogger wasn't wanting to play there. Finally got a picture to upload, not the one I wanted, but hey it's this card. So anyway, I have made this card for the Dutch Saturated Canary Challenge, using an image that was a freebie (I think it is in the Saturated Canary Shop now). The papers are Papermania - Portabello Road and the sentiment is Lili of the Valley. I have coloured her with Polychromos and blended with sansador and paper stumps.

The Sugar Bowl 90
My card for The Sugar Bowl Challenge this week. Although I have had it lying around for about a week. Well the optional extra this week is Love/Romance. I kinda cheated with this, since it's the image that I love - oh, and the papers too. Good job it's an optional extra eh. I mean who couldn't love Pippi Longsocks and her wee pal. The papers are again downloads from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Here without you by Krystal Hartley. The text is printed and added some pearls to finish. I have a tag to enter into the Official Sugar Nellie Facebook challenge, but Blogger doesn't seem to want me to add that one. But hopefully Facebook will be playing better.

The Sugar Bowl 89
My entry for The Sugar Bowl this week. The optional extra is Butterflies, but I haven't gone with them this time. I so wanted to use this cute Mermaid, and didn't know where to add Butterflies, so left them out. I also used some pearl liquid for the dots, but think I got carried away. The papers are a download from Sweet Shoppe Designs:- High Octane by Heather Roselli. I went with the colours from the Sugar Nellie Facebook Challenge. The shells are Marianne Design dies, I must have known I was gonna get some Mermaids eh. The sentiment is from Personal Impressions.

The Sugar Bowl 88 #2
My second entry into The Sugar Bowl Challenge. This time I've made a wee gift bag. Thought I had better start and make some Crimbo things or I'd never get any done. I had this super cutie coloured and ready to go. The box background is from Pink Petticoat and I have used a Darcie snowflake embossing folder on the white panel. A Cats Life Press sentiment and a Marianne Design Poinsettia die and a bit of red twineie stuff I found in the bottom of a box.

The Sugar Bowl 88
My entry into this months Sugar Bowl Challenge, yes the challenge is lasting 4 weeks this time. The optional extra is Summer time, which I am guessing this cute fairy can come under. The papers are a download from Sweet Shoppe Designs - A Bushel and a Peck by Kristen Cronin Barrow and the clouds are a die by Memory Box - puffy clouds. The sentiment is by Lili of the Valley.

The Sugar Bowl #86
Excuse the squinty photo, left it late to photo and the battery is dead, so had to make do. My card for the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl. The optional extra is for a boy, think this wee cotton rabbit fits that. Coloured ages ago with my Copics (before they ran out - oops). The sentiment is Personal impressions - a set I had forgot about - ahh, maybe I have too many stamps. Nooo! The papers are Basic Grey matted on some dark brown pearlesent card. Oh and my wee doodle round the sides.

Saturated Canary #19
My card for the anything goes challenge over at the Saturated Canary Challenge. I don't know what happened here - I took a notion to make a circle card, so had to make an easel card so it didn't fall over. I just love this image, coloured her up loads, just need to now make her into something. The papers are downloads from sweet shoppe designs - Bippity Boppity by Libby Pritchett. The just for you sentiment is Craftwork cards and the birthday part is printed out. A wee button and some wee rhinestone thingies and that's about all.

The Sugar Bowl #85 2nd entry
My second entry into The Sugar Bowl, this time using the optional extra - shades of violet. This is a colour I really don't use much, don't know why cos I'm kinda likin it. The papers are from Pink Petticoat and the sentiment is from Whimsy stamps. The flourish thingy is a Cheery Lyn die - well part of it anyway, it kinda fell apart when pulling it out - oops. I punched the wee Butterflies and added a wee crochet flower that I had forgotten about. The doodling around is something I started and now images seem bare without it. But I do try hard not to do it sometimes. I'm also entering it into Sugar Nellie's Facebook challenge which is Die cuts and/or Doodling.

The Sugar Bowl #85
Wow an early Sugar Bowl card from me this week, although I haven't gone with the optional extra of shades of violet. Hopefully I will manage another one with that. Blame my Sister for that one. She tells me she needs some Birthday cards - like NOW. Oh OK, better get busy then eh. Well an oldie image from me this time. A Diane Duda image, along with papers from First Edition. Printed out the sentiment and added some flowers with gems in the middle. I'm also entering it into their Facebook Challenge where they want to see wings (even though they are only little wings).

Saturated Canary #18
Another post so quickly. Don't know what happened there. Anyway I have created a bookmark for the challenge over at Saturated Canary, I have followed a tutorial on the Simply Sassy Blog for this corner bookmark. And nice and simple it was. The papers are a download from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Bippity Boppity by Libby Pritchard. The image is from Krista's shop and I have added some black rhinestone thingies, a bit of ribbon and a metal corner from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The Sugar Bowl 84
My entry into The Sugar Bowl. This fortnight they are having a free for all (anything goes), so I thought I could enter this one. This is actually the 2nd one like this. I made just a normal card and thought I should have made an easel card. So I coloured another image and got out the go kreate dies to make this one. The baby is a sizzlet set and the Granddaughter is printed. The image is a Sugar Nellie Digi image. The papers are Pink Petticoat digis, the seam binding started off white, but added the colour with sugared pink copic. Added some pink pearls a charm and some flowers. Sorry about the pic - so can't photo these easel cards.

The Sugar Bowl 82
Hopefully I'm doin something right here. But I guess if you are reading this then it's posted. Well my entry into The Sugar Bowl. I had this wee cutie all coloured in and cut out, so decided to use her. The optional extra is scrolls and swirls, so I added a die cut swirl. The die is a Marianne D die ( I think). The paper is not a download ( I know shocking eh), but from First addition - sweet owl. The flowers I have had for an age and added some craftwork cards candy and printed the text. The brown die behind her is a Cheery Lynn doily die. I have added a bit of glitter bit it's not showing up too well.

The Sugar Bowl 81
My entry to The Sugar Bowl. Used a sweet Simply Sassy image and coloured with polychromos and blended with Sansador and paper stumps. Papers are a download from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Cherry Sweet by Kirsten Cronen - Barrow. The optional extra with the sketch is stripes/plaid. I have managed that, but have just about covered them up. The sentiment is Lili of the Valley and I added a wee punched heart to it. Kept it pretty simple again, my usual at the mo.

The Sugar Bowl #78
This fortnights Sugar Bowl entry. I decided to use this Gorgeous Girl image which had been coloured in ages ago ( although I did have to alter the colouring a wee bit). The optional extra is Kraft, so I manged that with the mats. The papers are a download from Nitwits - Tail wags. The sentiment is partly computer generated (Hugs) and Lili of the Valley (for you). Used a Cuttlebug folder - Swiss dots, for the circle, and added some twine and rhinestone gems. And I think that's about all.

The Sugar Bowl #77
This weeks Sugar Bowl entry. It's been sat around waiting to be stuck down for nearly a week. So my goal for today was to finish it off. I managed to stick it down and post it - wow I'm doing well today. Anyway - the papers are from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Vignette by Krystal Hartley. The sentiment is Lili of the valley and the tag a Magnolia Doohickey die. With a few Craftwork card candy.

The Sugar Bowl 76
My card for the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl. I stretched the sketch to fit a DL card. I thought I had better use this Homegrown cutie, her first outing onto a card. The optional extra is paper piecing. I pieced her top, trousers and front of shoes. The papers are from Sweet shoppe designs, can't remember who by, but have had an age. Punched a couple of Martha Stewart butterflies with gems trailing behind. Not sure whether to add a sentiment, so left it blank for now.

High Hopes
Well here I am with a card. I told myself that I would enter more challenges this year. I'm not doing so well with that so far, but hey ho. Anyway my card tonight is for the challenge over at High Hopes where they want to see pink - loads a pink. So I used this wee cutie and the pink papers are downloads from Pink Petticoat. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley cut into a tag shape and the lace is from The Ribbon Girl. I have followed the sketch over at Papertake Weekly and think I will use it again. I'm trying to make A6 size cards at the mo, and always struggle with them. Since I have found the square card, I struggle with anything else.

Winter Wonderland
First up I have my entry into the challenge over Winter Wonderland where they want to see Birthdays. I don't normally associate snowflakes with Birthdays, but so wanted to use these papers. The papers are a download from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Forecast flurries by Eva Kipler. The image is from Sugar Nellie and I coloured in these colours for the Sugar Nellie Facebook challenge. Added a punched snowflake, a button and printed sentiment, and the diecut Daughter. I also want to enter it into Cupcake crafts challenge where the theme is winter Birthdays.
And my next card is another image from Sugar Nellie - Pippi Longsocks. I made this card for the last challenge over at The Sugar Bowl, but missed the challenge because the batteries were dead in the camera. So thought I would show it anyway.
