Over on the Sugar Nellie Blog they are showcasing Leanne Ellis Stamps this week. So I decided to dig out one for my card for the Challenge over at The Sugar Bowl. So I used Mermaid, don't you just love her. She is coloured with Copics, and very glittery using Wink of Stella (not that it shows in the picture). The papers are digi from here. I have used several dies - First Edition Crab, La La Land Seaweed, and Marianne Design shell. The sentiment is Lili of the Valley. I also want to enter her into the ABC Challenge - E for everything (anything goes). Oops, nearly forgot - I used the sketch (which I rotated) from Sketch Saturday so am entering her over there too.

Kraftin Kimmie #274
I decided to get my Copics out and have a wee play. I so need to practice more with them. Although I am quite impressed with my colouring on this one I am more comfortable using my Polychromos pencils, but like the results with the Copics. So I guess it's gonna be practice, practice, practice for me eh. But I also will have to invest in some more colours because I don't have loads of colours other than skin and hair. Well I have a nice pink combo that I can use, but you get a bit fed up colouring everything pink - haha. Anyway - onto my card. The image is from Kraftin Kimmie stamps. The paper's are from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Carolina Coast by Melissa bennett. The seashells are a die from Marianne designs. I have followed the April sketch from the Kraftin Kimmie Blog and would like to enter it into their challenge where the theme is to decorate the inside. So I'll give you a little peak of the inside.
I would also like to enter it into the challenge over at Papertake Weekly where the theme is anything goes.

The Sugar Bowl 118
I'm now on Christmas card mode. And I couldn't resist using this All Dressed up stamp that is exclusive to Funky Kits. Isn't she adorable. I don't think she is actually a Christmas image, but think she works just fine. The papers are from Michele R Designs - Santa's coming. I've only just started using papers from Michele Roo, and boy, I'm lovin them, especially this set. Not much to say about this card really, nice and simple. The poinsettia die is Marianne design, the snowflake a punch from Hobbycraft and the dies square is Lil' inker. the othe dies are MFT. I printed the sentiment out, made up several to use on my Christmas cards. I am entering this card into the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl where the theme is anything goes.

Mo's Amanda
I decided to enter the challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil. It's a special one this time where you have to use this image - But it is for a good cause. One of Mo's DT members - Amanda Reed - passed away unexpectedly, so this image is in her memory, so you can purchase this Amanda digi for the special price of $1.00 til 16th Oct and all proceeds will be given to a charity near to where Amanda lived. So I just had to give her a home. Anyway, I have used papers by MME and some washi tape, also by MME.The flower is a Marianne D die (I think) and a few punched butterflies. I have followed the sketch from over at Sketch Saturday.

Simply Betty - July Bettina
Oh Man, I'm struggling with Blogger at the mo. I can get onto my Blog, but when I try to open someone else's Blog, more often and not I get unable to display notices. Just when I think it is sorted and can get on others it then starts all over again. It gets so frustrating. Anyway, back to my card. This is my final card for the Challenge over at Simply Betty Facebook Challenge. You don't have to use all four images, but if you enter the challenge with all four, then you can get back credit for the next challenge images. So, my final card is of Bettina Mermaid. The extra for Bettina is to use heat embossing. I think I might have gone a little overboard with the frantage, but hey - I have used heat embossing. The papers are downloads from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Here without you by Krystal Hartley. The shells are again Marianne D dies. I added a bit of kraft card cut into wee strips just to make it slightly different from the other cards. Haha.
And a final picture of all four cards/gift bag together. I loved these Mermaids and working with them.

Simply Betty - July Sheri
Card number 3 for the Simply Betty Facebook Challenge and this time I'm using Sheri Mermaid. The extra for this one is twine or ribbon, so I dug out the twine. The papers are again Sweet Shoppe Designs - Carolina Coast by Melissa Bennett. I decided to add a wee charm on the twine. The starfish is a Marianne Design die. That's about all for this one.

Simply Betty - July Corinne
The July challenge over at Simply Betty's Facebook Challenge is to use these cute mermaids. I have used Corinne Mermaid first, but have managed to colour all four up. Just got to make the rest into something. You can get all the images over here. And for this challenge if you enter using all four then you can get credit back for the price you paid to buy the next set. How cool is that. But - hey, I'm going with the one I have finished for now, but hopefully I will manage to finish the rest. For this one I have followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday. And the added extra for Corinne mermaid is to add glitter. I have added some, just don't think you can see it very well. I have added it to the water and the sand/stone she is sitting on to look like shiny water. Can you tell I have bought a new white pen, I had to add white dots to the tail. I would have had a glittery tail if I hadn't added them. Haha. The papers are a download from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Vignette by Krystal Hartley. The dies are Marianne Design, think I will have to invest in some more nautical dies to go with the mermaids. I'll be getting fed up with these soon.

Beside the Seaside
Got another card finished tonight. And luckily it fits into several challenges. I have used the cute Mermaid from Simply Betty Stamps. Coloured her with Polychromos pencils and blended with sansador and paper stumps. The papers are downloads from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Carolina Coast by Melissa Bennett. A wee MFT die cut button and Marianne Designs Anchor. Added a bit of ribbon and pearls and that's me.
Challenges I am entering this into.
ABC Challenge - N for Nautical
Moving Along with the times - Beside the seaside

Christmas Fairies
I seem to be in Christmas mode just now. Hmmm, wonder how long that will last. Anyway, I have made a couple of wee gift card holders using the sweet Sugar Nellie Fairies. These are digi images, which helps when I want to make something that bit smaller. I want to enter these into the challenge over at Christmas at sweet stampin where the theme is Christmas Fairies. Both are made using digi papers from Sweet Shoppe Designs. The pink one is Happy Holidays by Zoe Pearn and the grey is Christmas Spirit - Silent Night, again by Zoe Pearn. I added a wee die cut poinsettia by Marianne Designs. Pretty simple really. Although I am really tempted to add something at the bottom of the pink one. But Hubby says to leave it alone. So I've left it alone (for now anyway). I am also entering them into the final challenge over at The Sugar Bowl where the theme is anything goes.

The Sugar Bowl 114
Whoo hoo, hopefully I can get this posted and entered into the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl in time. It did say 5 hours left, so surely it wont take me that long. Haha, famous last words could spring to mind there. Anyway, my card. I have made an Easter card, but not quite used the usual spring colours. The image is a digi image, of course by Sugar Nellie. A cute wee Homegrown Pip called Barrow Pip. The papers are Sweet Shoppe Designs - A Mothers Love by Kristen Kronin Barrow (and I think there may be another designer there too). The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley. And various dies - MFT buttons, Spellbinders matt on the sentiment and I think the flower and swirl are possibly Marianne D.

Leanne Ellis Sugar
I thought I would go with an older Leanne Ellis stamp from Sugar Nellie for this card. I have used the sweet Faraway Thoughts for this card.
There is a colour challenge going on over at The Sugar Bowl for this fortnight. I'll let you pop over and have a nosey at the colours. You can use all of them if you want but you must use at least two colours. And while you are there, have a look at the wonderful work from the DT - Super don't you think.Anyway, back to my card. Along side my Leanne Ellis stamp I have used a Personal Impressions sentiment. The papers are yet again a download from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Breelyn by Krystal Hartley. I have also added a Marianne D diecut and a few gems to finish off.

Sketch Saturday wk 294
I have made a card following the sketch over at Sketch Saturday. Although looking at all the other entries, not sure if this really counts. The shell diecuts are in place of the other circle bit (hope this counts). Anyway, I'm liking it so it's OK if it doesn't count. The image is a Gorjuss Girl by Personal Impressions - Awashed. I'm lovin all the Gorjuss girls at the mo, by any company. The papers are GCD Studio - Ella Blue. I have also added Marianne D diecut shells and a MFT button diecut tied with a bit of twine. The with love is a peel off - shh, don't tell everyone. Yes I admit, I have loads from when I first started Crafting. I added a bit of faux stitching around the image. I just can't leave alone these days, adding doodling of some sort. I also want to enter it into the challenge over at Sweet Stampin where the theme is stitches, real or faux. I haven't yet braved real sewing on my cards.

The Sugar Bowl 111
I can't believe I missed the last challenge. So here I am early for this one, and I might even have a second card, if I can get a picture taken and put onto here. Anyway I made an Easel card, so excuse the photo. They really don't take a good picture. So I have made my card for the Challenge over at The Sugar Bowl where the theme is Fairies. I have used one of the new Digital images - Gift Wrapping by Sugar Nellie. I haven't used any backing papers - shocking I know, but have used plenty of diecuts. The snowflakes are Whimsy Dies and the fence is a Magnolia Doohickey. The circle sentiment is Lili of the Valley and the other one is Crafty Impressions. The Poinsettia is a Marianne D die. I have added a few rhinestone thingies and glitter to finish off. I am also entering it into the Sugar Nellie Facebook Challenge.

Cute Card Thursday #294
Got another Christmas card here, this one is for the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday where the theme is Animal Magic. My image is a Lili of the Valley stamp and pretty sweet at that. The papers were a freebie in a magazine, probably last year (or possibly the year before- yeah I hoard papers). The tree is a Marianne Design Die which I put some twinklet glitter stuff on. I was planning on dotting some white ink on, but came across this glitter first. And the sentiment is Cats Life Press.
I also want to enter it into the Challenge over at Crafty Little Fairies where the theme is Christmas in November.

The Sugarbowl 107
I've managed to finish off another 2 Christmas cards. Yay - go me. I have used a couple of super sweet digi images from Sugar Nellie. For my first card I have used Princess. I am going to enter her into the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl which is an anything goes challenge. Nice and simple for me. The papers are from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Happy Holidays by Zoe Pearn. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley. The poinsettia is a Marianne D die and the button is an MFT die.
And for my second card, I have used another new super sweet digi image from Sugar Nellie - Elf made magic. The papers are again from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Deck the Halls by Kristen Cronin Barrow. And again the same dies used on this one. I guess they must have been lying around when I did both eh.

Penny Black Winter Wonderland
I'm now getting into Christmas mode. But I still have some Birthday cards I need to make, so I guess it wont last long. Well I got this Penny Black stamp in the sale at The Glitterpot and I'm lovin it. It goes well with these Papermania papers from last year. I am entering this card into the challenge over at Winter Wonderland where the theme is red, white and kraft. I love seeing everyone's colouring on kraft so decided to give it a go. Thinking now, I might prefer it on white. Anyway, the image is cut out with a nestie. The sentiment is Cats Life Press and the Poinsettia is a Marianne D die.
I have also coloured on white and made this card into an easel card. The bottom sentiment is by Crafty Impressions. I am entering this one into the challenge over at Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Monthly Challenge where they have an anything goes theme every month.

Simply Betty Evil Facebook Challenge
I decided to go with Evil for the challenge over at Simply Betty's Facebook Challenge. But I have decided I really don't do evil. I think it still looks kinda cute. You got the choice of evil or good for the challenge. You got a different mermaid, depending which you chose, for free. They were both cute (so I bought the other one - shh). They now have several cute mermaids in store, so can see another shopping spree coming on. Anyway, back to my card. The papers are downloads from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Spooky Ooky by Fee Jardine. I added the ribbon, after colouring it with my Copic marker. A Marianne Designs Anchor die (I'm lovin this die just now). The sentiment was included with the Mermaid.

Tiddly Inks sweet stampin
For today's card I have followed the sketch over at Sweet Stampin. I have used this sweet Mermaid image from Tiddly Inks, so thought as the theme over at the Tiddly Inks challenge was Summertime, this would be perfect. I also want to enter it into the first challenge over at A Creative Romance, which is a nice easy one of anything goes. The papers are a download from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Here without you by Krystal Hartley. The doily behind the image is a die from Cheery Lynn Designs. The shells are dies from Marianne D and the clouds are a Memory Box die. I printed the sentiment out and cut it out with a Spellbinders die.

The Sugar Bowl 102
I'm a bit slow in putting this on my Blog. I entered it into the Sugar Nellie Facebook challenge the other week. But here is is anyway. My entry into this months Sugar Bowl Challenge, another Anything Goes. I just love this Leeann Ellis stamp, but as usual don't use it nearly as much as I should. Maybe I just have too many now. Nooo, I didn't just say that did I. The papers are proper papers - Ella Blue by GCD Studios. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and the corner is a Whimsy die with a wee pearl added to the middle. I also die cut a few shells using a Marianne Design D (I think) and added a bit of ribbon.
