Cute Card Thursday 418

I decided to colour up my image for the Progressive Challenge over at Simply Betty's Facebook Progressive Challenge. I chose the papers first for a change and coloured her with Copics. She is of course from Simply Betty Stamps. The papers are Santoro - Leanne Ellis range. Thought I should cut into them now - and yes, it was hard. I think I should practice my photography right enough. I seem to be getting worse. I am going to enter her into the Cute Card Thursday Challenge where the theme is To die for. The dies are Spellbinders for the two ovals in the middle and MFT for the sentiment oval.

Cute Card Thursday 417

I don't usually do Easter cards. But this cute digi from Saturated Canary was just too cute to resist. So I coloured her up using Polychromos pencils and blended with Sansador using paper stumps. I was quite impressed with my colouring, but then got a mark on her arm. So in trying to sort it, I made it worse. So I have given her a pearl bracelet - haha. I wasn't sure about that either, but Hubby said it was fine, so she made it onto a card. The papers are from First Edition. I am going to enter this into the Challenge over at Cute Card Thursday where the theme is Easter. I am also entering it into the Challenge over at Sweet Stampin' where they have an Easter theme too.

The Sugar Bowl 134

When I heard that The Hobby House had brought out these art pads with Sugar Nellie Simply Adorable images I just had to dig out one of those Digi stamps. So I used Victoria. She wasn't the first one I coloured right enough. I coloured the other one with Copics, but the blue was just too blue (for me anyway), so I dug out the trusty Polychromos Pencils and coloured this one. I didn't want to go too bright (which I normally do). The papers are from Sweet Shoppe Designs and are by Krystal Hartley. I am entering her into the Sugar Bowl Challenge where they have an Anything goes theme. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and a bit of twine, pearls and a pin to finish off.

Sketch Saturday with Mo

Woohoo. I'm liking this card. I don't say that too often really. I coloured this Cutie in with Copics and quite like how it turned out. Big Sis has asked me to make some Baby cards for her friends. Hmm - so I leave it to the last minute. Well I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday and used papers from Pink Petticoat - Gingham and washed out. The sentiment is from Personal Impression. I even used my new Sizzix Hearts Embossing Folder. I am also going to enter this into the Bella and Bronte Challenge where they have an anything goes theme.
