Penny Black SC & Motivet

For my first card I have used the sketch over at the Motivet Challenge. I have used the cute Doraline with sunflower and coloured her in with watercolour pencils. The papers are Pink Petticoat and I have used some brown card to matt. The flowers are Prima and the sentiment I found in the bottom of a drawer. I think it came from bits that were free from a mag. I'm trying to use up some of my older stash. Boy, could that take a while. I think I could open up a shop with it all.

And over at the Penny Black SC, they have a special Christmas challenge going on. So I thought I would make a special Christmas card to go with it. I went with the easel card and a snowman image cos my friend loves snowmen. The papers are MME - The Merry Days of Christmas. I printed out the text and added 2 wee poinsettias and several MS punched snowflakes. I coloured it in with Distress inks.

Football Dexter

I followed the sketch over at Friday Sketches for this card. I decided to keep it pretty basic as I was making a boy card so I could enter it into the Get Funky challenge. They want to see a card for a wee boy using some papers/extras from Funky Hand products. I have used a Motivet image and the papers are from the Funky Hand - Funky Seasons CD. I printed out the text and added a button, just for fun.

Friday Sketches Wk 63

For this card I followed the sketch over at Friday Sketches. The papers are Pink Petticoat and the image is from Motivet. The Get Well Soon is from one of the Popcorn stamp sets again and the flowers are Prima.

Cute Card Thursday challenge 65

Over at Cute Card Thursday the theme is Tag, you're it. I was going to do a tag, but got carried away and ended up with a card. The papers are Funky Hand and the image is from Motivet in Canada. The text and the butterfly is Whiff of Joy. I thought the middle looked a bit plain, so in flew the butterfly. I seem to have a problem with big spaces.

Well I'm back a bit quicker than the last time. I've made a couple of cards for today.

The first being made with a great stamp from Motivet. Super fast service they provided. The papers are a download from Pink Petticoat.
