Kraftin Kimmie June Release

The time has come for the new release over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps to be released. And I am happy to say I am joining in on their Blog hop. I am again showing Floating Fiona, who is totally adorable. I have coloured her with Copics this time.

There is now a new store over at Kraftin Kimmie which looks super cool. And, if you place an order this weekend, Kim is sending you an extra wee freebie (it may be a stamp, sequins, buttons, brads, flowers or anything) Don't we just love surprises. And there are plenty of gorgeous stamps to be had, so go on, take a peek here.

For my card I have used Floating Fiona which is a clear stamp set, and is rather gorgeous. The papers are Echo Park - Summer Party. I coloured her with Copics ( I am just learning these so tend to avoid using them, but like the depth of the colours). I am pretty happy with how she turned out. The sentiment is also part of the same stamp set. The starfish charm was just crying out to be used, so I had to oblige haha. Oh, and don't forget the few sequins.
So go on and check out the whole release along the Blog hop. And, they are all now available too.

I am going to enter her into the challenge over at Sweet Stampin where the theme is lots of layers (3 or more).

Kraftin Kimmie Sneek Peek

Woo hoo - I'm a Krafty Guest for today's new release sneek peek over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. Today is Day three and we're previewing the fab new stamp set called Floating Fiona by Artist Annie Rodrigue. And boy is it a cute set. You get one image and five sassy sentiments. You're really gonna love her.

You can get your hands on this set and all the others on Saturday night when they will be released. From Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.

Now for my take on her. She really was lovely to colour. I have a wee soft spot for dolphins, so she was perfect for me (even though it was a blow up dolphin - haha). I coloured her up with Polychromos pencils and blended with Sansador using paper stumps. The papers are nice and summery and are called Summer Party by Echo Park. I have kept things very simple (as usual), only adding some clouds and twine. The clouds are a Memory Box die which I have had for years. The sentiment is part of the stamp set and cut into a tag shape.
I am going to attempt to add the Linky thingie with all the Krafty Girls to visit. But if for some reason I don't get it right you can find the link back at Kraftin Kimmie's Blog.
