Cute Card Thursday 445 - CAS

Lucky for me the new challenge over at Cute Card Thursday is CAS. This week we are sponsored by Magnolia - licious. I don't really do cards other than CAS. I love everyone elses, but just don't seem to be able to do them myself. Oh well, I just have to admire everyone elses. I am into making these easel calendars just now. What I am going to do with them (about 10 so far haha) I don't know. I was thinking about doing a Christmas craft fair, but I really wouldn't have enough things to sell. Guess I'll have wee sticky note calendars everywhere. haha.

The writing is a digi stamp from Whimsy Stamps from when they did digi stamps. I really wish they would bring them back, they were all gorgeous. The Ladybirds are an Elizabeth Crafts die. I added the pencil to one of my calendars and now I feel it's not finished without it.The papers are from Sweet Shoppe Designs - A Whimsical Garden by Kristen Cronin Barrow.

Cute Card Thursday 443 - Vintage

Once again another week has flown by and the theme for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge is Vintage. Hmm, I don't do vintage. Just the thought of roughing it up a bit puts me in a sweat. But hey, it's a challenge right (and only a bit of paper - yeah). So here is the end result, and I'm quite liking it. I might just have to try it again. (Did I really just say that).  We are being sponsored by Dis Digi Stamps with a $12 voucher to spend in store.
Well onto my card. I dug out an oldie stamp for this one. I have used a Leanne Ellis stamp from Sugar Nellie. You can get her in a super deal here. £9.99 for 5 stamps. What's not to love about that eh. But you can also get her on her own from here. The papers are digi from Michelerdesigns not that you can see much of them. The lace die is from Joanna Sheen and the birdcage is Tim Holtz. I decided to use some Imagination Crafts Alchemy Wax in Bronze to make it look a bit more aged. I have never used this before, but do like the result.

Cute Card Thursday 442 - Animals/Creatures

Another week gone and time for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge where they have the theme Animals/Creatures. A nice and easy one for you all. We are sponsored this week by All Dressed Up Stamps. So for my card I used Christmas Post from All Dressed Up. And another Christmas card for the box. Loads more to go right enough. The papers are from Papermania. I really must use up some of my papers. I like Digital papers, but have soo many real papers, that I have to at least try and use them once in a while. The snowflakes are dies from Paper Smooches. The circles are MFT stitched circles and the scallop circle is a Tonic die. The sentiment is from Mama Elephant. For the snow I used some embossing powder - I just love this effect for snow. I have followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday.

Cute Card Thursday 441 - House / Home

Oops, a bit late with this one. But hey, I'm here now. Well we have another Challenge over at Cute Card Thursday - the theme is House / Home. And we are sponsored by Bunny Zoe's Crafts. So I decided to go with a wee gift for someone. Who wouldn't want wine and chocolate - right.  I used a wee froggie stamp from Whimsy Stamps, and coloured it with Copics. The diecut reeds is from Joy crafts. It was actually bigger than I was expecting, but it's OK, I'm still getting to use it. The sentiment is printed from the computer and the small bit of paper is from Papermania. I added a few wee sequins because they were sitting on my desk crying to be used. Haha.

And a wee close up of the image. Maybe not the best picture, but you can see it anyway.
I am going to enter it into the ABC Challenge - O for open (anything goes).
