Cute Card Thursday 427

The Challenge over at Cute Card Thursday is for Holidays. So I went with Halloween for this. Over on Simply Betty Stamps Facebook Page they are celebrating Halloween early. Well every month til October to be precise. I might manage the monthly ones, but not too sure I will manage any daily challenges, but we'll give it a go. For this month they want to see Elegant Halloween. Hmm Elegant and Halloween so don't go together. I decided to go with a bag/box thing found here. I used a wee bit of DP around the bottom and added the web punch out around the bottom too. The punch is a Martha Stewart one I have had for an age. I added some liquid pearls on the web too, but they are kinda all different sizes - oops. I thought the doily added to the elegant look - right. I couldn't do Halloween without some Ghosts, so have added three wee Ghosts in there. Some are from a Memory Box die and some Taylored Expressions. The skull charm is a Sizzix die I have had for years (but is the first time used). I can't seem to find the image, but you can get others here.

Kraftin Kimmie Challenge 333

Haha, I think I may just have too many supplies. When I saw the theme for the Challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie was Summer I didn't think I had any Summer stamps. Hmm - who had just bought some of the new release. Yep, very Summery stamps they are too. Plus I have a mountain of Mermaid stamps. Oh well - I guess I can play along. Anyway, here is my card, made with a few stamps from the Keep Swimming clear set. I can't find it in store at the mo (it may be sold out). The die cut seaweed/shells (that you can just about see) are from Taylored Expression. The papers are from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Baby it's cold outside by Jayday.

Kraftin Kimmie Challenge 332

I was thinking about doing a craft fair at Christmas. The local Primary School has asked me the last coupe of years if I want a table. Hmm - no, I'm not that good. Haha. Well, I decided I might give it a go this year. Well, maybe. So I thought I would see what I could come up with. Well I decided to try these sticky note calendar things, and I must say I'm quite liking them. But I could be over run with calendars when I don't do the craft fair. Haha. Well the Calendar tabs don't come out til July (I think), so I had to make do with the only ones I could find (last years) for my photo taking. I thought about adding a wee pencil, so I now have to go back and add one to the other few I have made. Anyway, I have used the super cute A Furry Surprise from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. ( Stamp also available here in the UK). The papers are from Sweet Shoppe Designs.  The tag is a die from MFT. I am entering it into the Challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie where the theme is Animals.

The Sugar Nellie Challenge

Yep, it's that time again for the Sugar Nellie Challenge. Again we have an anything goes theme. Nice and simple for you all. For my card today I have used a digi stamp from the Simply Adorable range. This one is called Lizzie. And if you aren't into digi stamps, she is also available as printed stamps to colour from The Hobby House.  (and the other set from The Hobby House). The papers are downloads from Sweet Shoppe Designs - Here without you by Krystal Hartley. The sentiment is from Craftwork cards which I have had for ages. Thought I should use some up. A bit of lace, a doily and some pearls to finish. Coloured with Polychromos pencils and blended with Sansador using paper stumps.
I am going to enter her into the Challenge over at Dream Valley Challenges where the theme is add a doily.

Tiddly Inks 181 - Fairies

The Challenge over at Tiddly Inks is all about Fairies. And would you believe, I didn't have too many Fairies, so went shopping for a few more. I just couldn't resist this cutie - Willow the greeting Fairy. Coloured with Polychromos pencils and blended with Sansador using paper stumps. The papers are Lili of the Valley, but they don't do papers anymore. Thought I had better start using them instead of hoarding them. The sentiment is from Kanban, an old stamp set I have had for years. The button and oval are cut using MFT dies.
