Make a wish Foundation

Over at Pink Cat Studio they have a new set of Digital stamp downloads to raise money for Make a wish Foundation, in honour of Ethan Weiman. Go see for yourself.

Anyway, I made this card with the Ethan download. I coloured him with my Copics. But - yes - I am still very much a beginner. Although I have to say, greens and browns seem to be my strong colour. The papers are Basic Grey - Archaic.

Just Magnolia

Just Magnolia are now having a monthly challenge. This month they are asking you to alter something. I decided I would alter a can of sweetcorn. Obviously I ate the sweetcorn first. I decided to make a pen pot. I had actually kept the can to do just that, but didn't know where to start. But this challenge got me started. And I was quite pleased with the end result.

Winter Wonderland wk4

Over at Winter Wonderland they are wanting to see a blue Christmas. I think I can say I have gone blue. The papers are Pink Petticoat and the image is Miss Anya - Snow - from The Greeting Farm. I don't know if I will be able to hide this from my Cousin. But hey, maybe she'll have forgotten come Christmas. But hey, that's another one down. Yay!!

Just Magnlia Wk10

Over at Just Magnolia the theme this week is Summer. I decided to go orange for this one. I have used papers from a Chris Warner CD, and printed out the summer fun. The dragonfly is also magnolia.

Penny Black #54

Over at Penny Black challenge they want to see embossing. So for this I have used the cuttlebug embossing folder, and embossed the layer behind the sheep to make it look like a fence - ish. I have again used papers by Pink Petticoat. But hey, I do try and vary them a wee bit. The sheep I won on challenge #50. Thanks guys.

Friday Sketches #57

This is the first time I have tried the Friday Sketches challenge. But I got my Diane Duda stamps from Funkykits and just had to play. I coloured a few and then thought I would try a sketch challenge. So here I am. Well need I say anymore about the image. The papers are Basic Grey - Sugared. The thanks is a stamp I have had an age, so don't know who it's by.

Cute Card Thursday challenge 65

Over at Cute Card Thursday the theme is Tag, you're it. I was going to do a tag, but got carried away and ended up with a card. The papers are Funky Hand and the image is from Motivet in Canada. The text and the butterfly is Whiff of Joy. I thought the middle looked a bit plain, so in flew the butterfly. I seem to have a problem with big spaces.

The Sugar Bowl #13

Lilians sketch over at The Sugar Bowl was a good one for me. You had to use the colour kraft - now that was the hard part. How I hear you ask. Well I knew I had some kraft paper somewhere. In the end I ended up cutting an A6 card to do the matting. I sanded it lightly then added some dark brown ink. I have used my Sugar Nellie Gorjuss girl here. The papers are a Pink Petticoat download. The ribbon slider I got from Wild Orchid crafts. I thought I had got over my thing for 3 gems in the corner. But I see they are creeping back in again. Ahh well - I think they just finish it off.

Just Magnolia Wk9 & A Spoonfull of Sugar #56

Over at A spoonfull of Sugar they have a sketch to follow. I have used this along with the Magnolia challenge - which is to paper piece. For this I have pieced Tilda's dress and boots. I have used K & Co Blue Awning papers for this and also the background. The flower is Prima with a bit of brown ink daubed on it, with Leone Em branches to finish it off. Happy Wishes is from my computer - cut out with a nestie.

Winter Wonderland #3

The theme over at Winter Wonderland is Let it snow. For my card I have used an Elisabeth Bell stamp from Sugar Nellie - Snowflake. Love this one. The papers are DCWV. The large snowflake is Sizzix and the wee ones are punches. The Let it snow is printed from the computer.

Penny Black Birthday

Over at Penny Black they are celebrating their 1st Birthday. Happy Birthday. For this challenge they are asking you to use the theme Celebrations. For my card, I have used a Christmas stamp, but made it into a Birthday card. I covered the Christmas pics on the bags with matching papers. The papers and the sentiment are from Funky Hand - minty madness download.

A spoonful of sugar #55 & cute card Thursday #64

Wow, I have managed to combine 2 challenges here. I am impressed. Anyway, over at A spoonful of sugar we have butterflies. I think I have covered that one. And at Cute card Thursday we have quotations. The quote and large butterfly are both Penny Black. The wee butterflies are Magnolia. The papers are Funky Hand and Flowers are Prima Forever flowers

High Hopes #34

Over at High Hopes there is a sketch to follow. Here I have used Dress up Danni - but I'm not too sure about the colours. But hey - it's done now. I have used Papermania - Scrumptious papers. Punched out flowers and gems.

Lil babies

Another quick post of the babies. I want a piccie of the 3 together, but I think that is gonna be just a wee bit difficult. But I will keep trying. I saw wee Bella and Bruiser sat together and thought that would be a cool picture. Only Bruiser wasn't letting go of the plastic. So I took the photo and then confiscated it. Nice try Bruiser.

Just Magnolia Week 8

Sketch by Rach. For this challenge I have used papers from a Funky Hand CD and an older Magnolia stamp. I thought I had better use some of my older stamps again. I embossed the circle with the cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder. The happy days was printed out from my computer. I think the flowers are from Papermania.

Over at The Sugar Bowl there is a great sketch by Lia, and to use the colours green and blue. For this one, I have used an older stamp from Elisabeth Bell from Sugar Nellie With a mixture of papers from Provocraft and Tinker & Co downloads

Cute Card Thursday challenge 63

The challenge over at CCT is Punches and die cuts. For my card I have used a stamp from Whiff of Joy from the summer kit by Elisabeth Bell. The sentiment is also from this kit. The papers are Basic Grey. The smaller flowers are punches and the larger flower is a Sizzix die. The swirl is a Quickutz die. I have also used the Martha Stewart Arch Lattice punch.

A Spoonful Of Sugar challenge 54

Over at a spoonful of sugar there is a sketch to follow. I thought it looked hard at first, but once I got going I thought it was pretty good. I have used a cute Riley stamp from Hanna stamps with Basic Grey Papers. The Howdy I printed out on the computer.

Penny Black challenge 51

For the challenge over at Penny Black is a fab sketch. For this sketch I have used My Minds Eye - Bloom and Grow papers. The flowers are Bazzill Bitty Blooms and the leaf thingies are L-Em punch. The image is called Ladybug 'n hedgehog.
